It’s now wonder that such a global Internet retailer as Amazon builds new warehouses time to time… This year they were looking to get a brand new Midwest warehouse in South Dakota.
That was when we stepped in, previously building similar (though a bit smaller) warehouses for miscellaneous companies…
Some interesting trivia about the construction process:
- People working there walk an average of 13 miles per day. That’s why we’ve built few moving staircases and have made few tracks inclined – to help people cicrumvent the warehouse faster
- We’ve built in a lot of advanced, “smart” shelves inside the sidewalls, to save on space
